Click here for a "Great Day of Service"

Dear Volunteer,

One day the phone will ring at RoseHaven. A terrified woman and her children will need a safe place to spend the night, one where they can't easily be found. You will be the voice on the phone, offering hope, kindness, and support. Your work may take you to the courtroom, the hospital, the administrative office - you are a critical part of the team. You will give of your time, your talent, and your spirit. In return, we offer the most rewarding experience of your life an opportunity to be there to feel the heartbeat - to know you made a difference in a life.

Believe me, this work will steal your heart!

The welfare of each and every woman and child who come to RoseHaven is the utmost concern. Love, care and personal attention is essential during a crisis situation. It is the goal of RoseHaven to provide women with the necessary tools for surviving abuse, neglect, and pressure from family, friends, and community.

We deal with feelings of being alone and offer guidance with compassion and concern while promoting emotional and spiritual healing. Problems are never treated lightly and are handled with care and empathy.

We can assist during a crisis pregnancy; teach parenting skills; restore and transform the abuse victim with new feelings of self esteem and prepare her for returning home. All this is done through counseling, support groups, Bible study, and accountability. When a woman returns to society and the workplace, a new determination is realized to provide for herself and her family while rebuilding her life.
