During the last twenty five years, the Lord has given us the privilege to work with hundreds of couples through Marriage Enrichment Retreats, Marriage seminars, speaking in Church services and other events, and one-on-one pastoral care conferences. The basis for success is always helping the couple(s) to permit the Holy Spirit to be their Senior partner, to study His Word, and to develop good skills in dealing with the many areas involved in interpersonal relationship. We call this part of the ministry "Family Life Skills Training" What a thrill it is to see couples decide to join us in  working toward the very best marriages they can have and are willing to strive toward reaching their potential in that relationship. Conversely, it is very frustrating to watch couples delay or be unwilling to commit time to strengthening their marriage relationship until major problems arise. Then they frequently refuse to seek help until one or both lose hope and/or the desire to save the marriage. We don't believe that most marriages are beyond hope. We have seen the Lord renew marriages that had reached the point of attempted suicide or attempted murder of a spouse. Had work been done early and consistently, so much pain for all the family members could have been avoided and so much joy experienced. During Jim's twenty-six years in the business world, he was in some type of schooling or skills training virtually every year in order to hone his job skills and improve his performance on the job.

Why not consider the most important job we have, being a spouse or parent, worthy of frequent renewal and honing of skills?
