State Representative Tim Feeley represents  the 59th District, which includes Oldham County and a small section of Jefferson County. Elected November, 1998.

During my first session of the General Assembly, my accomplishments included: 

  • Secured an additional Circuit Judgeship for the 12th Judicial Circuit (Henry, Oldham and Trimble counties)
  • Drafted and sponsored HB 737, which will deny full retirement benefits for state employees who are convicted of stealing public funds
  • Helped draft and co-sponsor Kentucky’s first Rails-to-Trails program to convert abandoned railroad lines into hiking, biking and equestrian trails
  • Named a “Friend of Taxpayers” by the Kentucky Taxpayer Association
  • Rated #4 out of 100 Representatives by Kentucky Forward, the political arm of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce 


During my second session of the General Assembly I’m sponsoring several bills, including:

  • HB 13 Allows retired Kentuckians who hold an elected city or county office to opt not to contribute to the elected office’s retirement system.
  • HB 105 Suspends the ability to operate a motor vehicle if they have been convicted of stealing gasoline from a gas station.
  • HB 249 would prevent local school superintendents from employing a relative of a candidate for the local board of education of the superintendent's district.

  • Married for eighteen years to Dr. Sue Feeley, a Crestwood Dentist
  • Four children: Kathleen, 16, a junior at South Oldham High School; Mary, 15, a sophomore at SOHS; Peggy, 12, a seventh grader at South Oldham Middle School; and Jack, 11, a fifth grader at Camden Station Elementary School
