Reoccurring Weekly Events

LaGrange Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 12:00 noon at the Convention and Aquatic Center.

Child's Play is a free group for parents and their kids to meet and play. It offers fun and interaction in an informal atmosphere. Wednesday, 10:00 AM to Noon meet at Centerfield Baptist Church, 4200 S. Hwy 393. For information, call 241-0404.

Tri-County Adult Day Care Center, 2416 S. Ky. 53 in La Grange offers respite services from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Lunch, snacks and transportation are available. Information: 222-1349.

HOMEGROWN, the group for stay-at-home parents and their children, meets on Thursdays from 10 am to noon at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. The purpose of the group is to provide a regular time and place where parents at home and their kids can meet each other and socialize. For more information call Elaine at 292-0161.

La Grange Kiwanis Club meets at 7 p.m. Thursdays, at the Oldham County Fairgrounds. For Information, Call 222-9060.

The South Oldham Rotary Club meets each Friday at 7:30 a.m. at The Oldham County Arts Center, 7105 Floydsburg Rd, Crestwood. 222-3272

The Oldham County Christian Businessman's prayer breakfast at 7-8 a.m. every Wednesday, at Shoney's, New Moody Lane, La Grange. For information call 222-1599 (before 9 p.m.).

Recovery Inc. 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church, 311 Browns Lane in Jefferson County. The organization provides self-help methods of dealing with depression, fears and other nervous problems. Information: 897-6745.

Seniors' Events

Tri-County Community Action Agency offers a variety of activities for anyone 60 or older. From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Tri County senior center 2315 S. Ky. 393 in Buckner. Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. weekdays. Reservations must be made in advance 222-2289

Watson-Powell Community Center at Heafer and Parkfeild Road in Jefferson County. 10:00 a.m.-1:00 a.m. lunch 11:30 a.m. - noon reservations made previous day for information 245-2116
